The History Of Ken-Tron Mfg., Inc.

Ken-Tron is located in western Kentucky and was originally started in 1960, as Kentucky Electronics, to manufacture precision grid wire for receiving tubes. Metal stampings was added several years later with the concentration at that time on television gun parts. We have since diversified both product lines.

In 1983, Robert Hudson and W.C. Cundiff purchased Kentucky Electronics' Owensboro plant and renamed it. Ken-Tron remains today a closely held corporation dedicated to providing quality, value and service to its customers.

In 1995, we became ISO 9000 certified and received our AS 9100 Certificate on May 5, 2005.
