Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. uses stamping to create medical metal parts from a variety of materials. We permanently press designs into the surface of the material using forms, dies and extreme pressure. Our medical stampings include multi and four slide metal stampings, deep drawn metal stampings, eyelet stampings, transfer press stampings, and progressive die stampings. For custom medical stampings, we can work with your existing design, or assist you with your design and prototype.

In addition to high volume production medical metal stamping and forming, Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. offers many secondary processes. We offer short run manufacturing, prototypes, specialty packaging, assembly service, and design assistance for medical stamping products. Ken-tron provides assistance for design and review of medical stampings, including material considerations, manufacturing costs and techniques, as well as concepts. For upgrade and redesign projects, Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. may be of assistance with modernizing existing products or improving manufacturing cost and efficiency with new approaches to medical stampings.

Custom Medical Stampings

Because we work directly to your specifications and requirements for performance, virtually every medical stamping we produce is a custom medical stamping. Typically our engineers use your blueprint or part drawing to determine which of our processes will produce your medical stampings most efficiently. Once your process is selected, our material and manufacturing experts will estimate the cost of producing your medical stampings. At this point, our sales department will provide you with a quote.

When production drawings are provided, we are able to take those drawings and turn them into custom medical stampings, using your specified materials, dimensional tolerances and quality requirements. When there is only a concept, we can work together with you to develop the medical stamping to suit your needs. We can also work from examples and prototypes.

Prototyping, Short Run Production, Tumbling, Deburring

Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. medical stamping services extend to prototyping and short run production services for test market medical products or medical product introduction cycles. Medical part finishing includes such services as deburring, tumbling, heat treating, annealing, plating, and coating.

Tool and Die Services

Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. develops and builds all the tools used in our medical metal stamping processes. We have comprehensive tool room facilities for the building and maintenance of close tolerance tools and dies. Our equipment list includes, but is not limited to Milling Machines, CNC Mills, Wire EDM Machines, Centerless Grinders, Elox EDM “ram”, Surface Grinders, Jig Grinders, Lathes, Drill Presses, Honing Machines, Cut-off Saws, Bandsawa, Heat-Treat Furnaces, and Shapers.
