Wire Forms and Wire Forming Services

To create wire forms, Ken-tron’s engineers, designers and toolmakers begin with customer drawings and specifications to build tooling. Our wire forming services division fabricates wire into custom precision metal stamping parts using this tooling.

Ken-tron manufactures wire formed parts with U.S. Baird Forming machines ranging in size from #00 four-slides to #28 multi-slides. Wire forms are produced from Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. wire or other wire up to .125" in diameter.

Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. produces wire form stampings using dies traveling horizontally in multiple directions. This process creates a shaped wire metal stamping or wire form. Our wire forming operations currently create a variety of springs, reed blades, reed switches, straight cuts, lead pins, S-bends, Z-bends, hair pins, and other wire forms.
